Our integration with Cisco is here

We’re excited to announce that we’ve completed an integration with Cisco’s meeting room and desk hardware.

This is a big opportunity for us to level up our offering, allowing customers to access the building data they need from systems they already have in their offices. 

To celebrate the good news, we thought we’d write a quick blog post explaining what the integration actually involves, and why we’re so excited about it.

Why have we integrated with Cisco’s hardware?

When companies are looking to get their hands on building data, they often end up buying new hardware, such as IoT sensors

These are really valuable devices that can give you high-quality data about things like occupancy, energy and indoor air quality.

However, there are a lot of other systems in a building that can give you useful information, without the need to buy and install new hardware.

Given just how many companies already have Cisco devices in their offices, integrating with Control Hub seemed like an obvious choice for us and our customers. 

What does the integration actually involve?

Our team has been busy integrating with a load of Cisco’s hardware – way too many devices to list them all here. 

But long story short, if you already have Cisco’s devices in your workplace, we can pull valuable data from them, including:

  • Occupancy levels
  • People count
  • Indoor air quality 
  • Temperature and humidity
  • Ambient noise

Importantly, we don’t just display the data from these devices in isolation. We bring it all together in a single place – with the context you need – along with any other building data you already have.

This provides you with game-changing insights about how your desks, meeting rooms and floors are being used, and how healthy and productive your spaces are for your employees.
